B&B Buitenveldert - Bolestein 31

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Astrid was a super hostess and went above and beyond in my opinion to make my wife and I feel comfortable and welcome. Our day in Amsterdam was chaotic and none of the time lines I told Astrid about we were able to keep. None the less we arrived late at night to find her waiting and guided us to our beautiful room. After a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed, breakfast was waiting which was delicious. Astrid had even home baked for us, almond cake! My wife’s egg was perfect while the croissant and breads were fresh and warm. We had a choice of coffee, expresso or cappuccino with or breakfast and there was juice and yogurt with fresh fruit and cereal. The room was large with a king size bed and the bathroom was also large with heated floors and a full size tub and wonderful shower. Laundry machines were also available if had needed them. The breakfast room doubled as another bedroom so the B&B can accommodate up to 4 guests. Transit is very close and it only takes 35 minutes to go from the house to central station. We were offered free parking right in front of the house which was where we left our car earlier that day. This is a family home and we only met Astrid, who was a super person. Very friendly and she really likes her position as hostess and enjoys meeting the guests and she is very helpful with directions and making you feel at home away from home. Next time we are in Amsterdam I will definitely make reservations to stay here. Thank Astrid and family for the wonderful night and great hospitality.
