★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een fijne B&B. Dicht bij het centrum van Alkmaar en toch rustig gelegen. Welkom met heerlijke cake, nootjes en een flesje wijn. De bedden slapen super!! En ook in de tuin is een heerlijk zitje met heater erbij... het voortreffelijke ontbijt maakte het helemaal af... We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug!
What a nice B&B. Close to the center of Alkmaar and yet in a quiet location. Welcome with delicious cake, nuts and a bottle of wine. The beds sleep super !! And also in the garden is a lovely seat with heater there ... the excellent breakfast made it complete ... We will definitely come back here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk geslapen! Wat een comfortabel bed. De rustige plek helpt daar ook zeker bij. 'S Ochtends gewekt door vrolijk gekwetter van vogels. Ook een uitstekend ontbijt gegeten. Een echte aanrader!
Slept wonderfully! What a comfortable bed. The quiet place certainly helps with that. Awakened in the morning by cheerful twittering of birds. Also had an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely no! I stayed here about 3 years ago for an extended business stay. The apartment was not ready for me so I had to stay in the main house with other guests. Finally when the apartment was ready it was just horrible. There was no sink in the bathroom. The kitchen is just hot plates. It was very noisy. I asked my company to move me to an actual hotel. At this point the owner became very rude with me. Would not recommend this place.

The owners were super nice and friendly, and accommodated any needs and issues.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing!
And the location is great.
We could also borrow their bikes which was very good, and borrowed umbrellas too as it rained hard one evening.
If I’m back in the area, would definitely visit this place. And I’d also recommend it to others!
