★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijke plek. Rustig en met Nijmegen “om de hoek”. Gelogeerd in De Bever die aan de achterzijde vd B&B ligt. Handig als er een feestje is in De Zijdewinde :)
 Wonderful place. Quietly and with Nijmegen "around the corner". Stayed in De Bever which is located at the rear of the B&B. Handy if there is a party in De Zijdewinde :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik heb even moeten nadenken hoe ik dit zou gaan omschrijven, maar in alle jaren dat ik overnachtingen heb geboekt heb ik dit niet eerder meegemaakt.
Mijn vriend en ik hebben op 2 en 3 september een bruiloft in Nijmegen en hebben daarvoor een overnachting geboekt via Booking.com bij B&B Natuurlijk Genieten. Dit zou tevens voor ons de eerste keer zijn dat we na de geboorte van ons zoontje een nacht met z’n tweeën weggaan.
Nu werden we gebeld door de eigenaresse dat we de boeking moesten annuleren, omdat ze het weekend erop een bruiloft heeft op de locatie en een aantal van de gasten in het appartement wil laten verblijven die wij al hadden geboekt. Normaliter deel je dan aan die gasten, die later boeken, mee dat helaas voor die nacht de accommodaties vol zijn.
Ze heeft ons nog een alternatief aangeboden in het dorp vlakbij, maar dat was niet waar we naar op zoek waren. Nadat ik hierover mijn onvrede heb geuit, zijn we overeengekomen dat voor die gasten een andere accommodatie zou worden gezocht voor die nacht.
Echter, vanochtend kom ik tot mijn verbazing tot de ontdekking in mijn e-mail, dat de eigenaresse alsnog via de website van Booking onze reservering heeft geannuleerd. Hoewel ze zelf beweerd dat Booking dit heeft gedaan, is dit niet juist.
Voor de bijzonder ongastvrije behandeling geef ik dan ook 1 ster. Erg zonde, aangezien de accommodatie er op de foto’s mooi uit ziet.
I had to think about how I would describe this, but in all the years that I have booked overnight stays, I have never experienced this before.
My boyfriend and I are having a wedding in Nijmegen on 2 and 3 September and have booked an overnight stay for this via Booking.com at B&B Natural Enjoyment. This would also be the first time for us to go away for a night after the birth of our son.
Now we got a call from the owner that we had to cancel the booking, because she has a wedding at the location the following weekend and wants some of the guests to stay in the apartment that we had already booked. Normally you inform those guests who book later that unfortunately the accommodations are full for that night.
She offered us an alternative in the village nearby, but that was not what we were looking for. After I expressed my dissatisfaction about this, we agreed that other accommodation would be found for those guests for that night.
However, this morning I am surprised to discover in my e-mail that the owner has canceled our reservation via the Booking website. Although she herself claims that Booking has done this, this is not correct.
I give 1 star for the particularly inhospitable treatment. A shame, since the accommodation looks nice in the photos.
