Besides the unfriendly staff, my husband had 2 cherry pits in his speculaas (gingerbread) and cherry cake which he bit into hard and nearly broke his tooth! When I very quietly alerted the women behind the counter to this, they shrugged and said “well, it’s a cherry cake.”
Customer unfriendly. All I expected was a sincere apology. And maybe thanks so they could warn other unsuspecting customers.
Besides that, no dairy free milk for the coffee… but that’s to be expected in a small town, I suppose.
Good though: free restrooms for visitors :)
