★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Bagels & Beans opened in november 2019. On the ground floor there is the to go area. On the first floor you can sit and relax and have breakfast, lunch or just a coffee or tea. You have a nice view there on department store Bijenkorf and shopping centre Koopgoot, so a good spot for Urban Sketching. My favorite pastry at Bagels & Beans: dadeltaart (dates pie)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It took 20 minutes, literally, to get my avocado bagel served, and the cheese was missing.
They forgot the cream cheese and the bagel looks crusty and poor.
After 20 minutes you would expect a steak to come out and not this lacking sandwich.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the worst experience there. We were told not to sit because they had too much work to do to clean the dishes and serve. Quite a stupid thing to say. They ran out of excuses and started blaming the “boss”, not allowing clients to sit in, but the place was packed (with some tables free and clients just leaving). Never go there. They hired 2 lazy and irresponsible teenage girls. Their English was good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I understand that due to covid there need to be a lot of people trained. But we sat down at 16:40, ordered 2 cappuccinos and it took 30 min to get them. Why? Because a new person had to be trained. We were the only customers mind you. I think maybe serve your customers while explaining. Leave the entire workings of the machine for after the customer was served. All in all, not a pleasant experience waiting half an hour for two cappuccinos.
