β β β β β Bailalma is a great Cuban dance school. Particularly with the accent on the Cuban origin of the various dance styles the way the dance exactly correlates to the music is part of the essence. Great care and attention is given to that aspect so that it is done right, the dance between the body and the music within the spirit of the culture.
This is no easy feat, but Beamiris and Fabrizio manage to demonstrate the patience and simultaneously incorporate a lot of fun and joy into the classes to the effect that after each class you are a better dancer and had a lot of fun getting there too! The in depth knowledge of the various dances and the dedicated adherence to its origins ensures this is an experience as close as one can get to the Cuban style without leaving The Netherlands. The dynamics between the two teachers is another reason why it is a fantastic experience. They are truly great in what they do as individuals, but also as a couple. Beamiris and Fabrizio even master the "Son", a traditional older style of music. I would only wish there would be more dancers interested in this older dance style to allow Beamiris and Fabrizio to gather the critical mass needed to start dance classes in this particular style. In short, what Beamiris and Fabrizio choose to do, they do exceptionally well.
