★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Voor 'n fabrieks bakker behoort de van Van Maanen bakkers tot de top van Nederland denk ik. Ze verliezen ambachtelijk bereiden van hun producten niet uit het oog. Wij zijn vaste klant!!
For a factory baker, the Van Maanen bakers are among the best in the Netherlands, I think. They do not lose sight of the traditional preparation of their products. We are a regular customer !!

The bread is always delicious, but the staff at this Van Maanen could be a little friendlier.

Enig nadeel is het personeel: heb zo de indruk dat, dankzij het predicaat "Bij Koninklijke Beschikking Hofleverancier" zij behoorlijk naast hun schoenen lopen. Lopen niet echt over van vriendelijkheid. [Filiaal Leiderdorp - Van Diepeningenlaan]
Bakery with very good products.
The only disadvantage is the staff: I have the impression that, thanks to the designation "By Royal Decree, Purveyor to the Royal Household" they are quite wrong. Don't really overflow with kindness. [Leiderdorp branch - Van Diepeningenlaan]

Fine bakery. Tasty bread, but also pastries and savory and sweet rolls.
