★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zowel aan de Molendijk als aan de Oostvoorstraat (beiden in Oud-Beijerland) wordt je geholpen door vriendelijk en gezellig personeel. In de afgelopen jaren is het assortiment verschraald. Sommige broden zijn alleen in het weekend of op bestelling te krijgen. Golden oldies uit de Bas Boender tijd zijn verdwenen zoals het kaas uien stokbrood. Hierdoor kom ik vaker bij andere bakkers dan bij Boender. Het lijkt of de winstgevendheid het heeft gewonnen van een breder en klantvriendelijk assortiment. Ook op het gebied van harde broodjes is er weinig keus.
Both on the Molendijk and on the Oostvoorstraat (both in Oud-Beijerland) you will be helped by friendly and pleasant staff. In recent years, the range has shrunk. Some breads are only available on weekends or to order. Golden oldies from the Bas Boender era have disappeared, such as the cheese onion baguette. As a result, I visit other bakers more often than Boender. It seems that the profitability has won over a wider and customer-friendly range. There is also little choice in the field of hard bread rolls.
