 A lovely pub, quiet / busy / cozy with a good music playlist and friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Met zn allen op de stamtafel, was nog lekker rustig, uitstekend muziek, my old time favorite kroeg. Poolen, darten.
With all of them on the main table, it was still nice and quiet, excellent music, my old time favorite pub. Pool, darts.

Good pub very cozy and a good range of drinks and beer, nice to have a pub nearby with a pool table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke gezellige kroeg. Doorgaans hebben ze rock op de achtergrond maar op zaterdagnacht veranderd de muziek zodat het wat meer gericht is op de jeugd die in een nabijgelegen etablissement op stap gaat.
Nice cozy pub. They usually have rock in the background but on Saturday night the music changes so that it is more focused on the youth who go out at a nearby establishment.

Het is wel wennen dat de zaterdag vooral voor de jeugd is en dat de huismuziek wat meer top-40 is geworden.... maar goed, een zaak moet ook met z'n tijd mee gaan.
Vrijdagen zijn doorgaans wat rustiger, maar wel gewoon gezellig druk; je ziet dan vooral het wat oudere publiek met hier en daar een jonger die even een potje komt poolen.
Minpuntje is wel dat de mensen geneigd zijn om buiten voor de kroeg te blijven rondhangen, al dan niet met drank.
Dit zorgt soms voor een wat grimmige sfeer buiten, met name op zaterdagavond.
Maar al met al, toch een prima kroeg waar je je prima kunt vermaken en nog niet van die achterlijke prijzen hoeft te betalen voor een drankje. (vraag maar eens naar de aardbei-shots)
Nice pub, been coming here for years.
It takes some getting used to the fact that Saturday is mainly for the youth and that the house music has become a bit more top 40 .... but well, a case has to keep up with the times.
Fridays are usually a bit quieter, but just pleasantly busy; you mainly see the somewhat older audience with here and there a younger one who comes to play a game of pool.
The downside is that people tend to hang out outside the pub, with or without alcohol.
This sometimes creates a somewhat grim atmosphere outside, especially on Saturday evenings.
But all in all, a great pub where you can have a great time and not have to pay those ridiculous prices for a drink. (just ask about the strawberry shots)
