Een plek om zeker naar terug te gaan. Went for lunch at Spijs & Spraakwater last Saturday. What an atmospheric place! Staff is friendly and cares about the customer. A place to go back to for sure.

Vanaf aankomst tot het einde, hebben wij exceptionele serivce ervaren. Het team, zowel de bediening als de keuken, was gedurende de hele avond zeer attent. Het eten was zeer goed bereid en verzorgd, en smaakte heerlijk! De ambiance klopte helemaal met de gezeligheid en de sfeer, wat ook van belang is. Ik zou Spijs en Spraakwater zeker aanbevelen, zowel voor grotere groepen als een klein gezelschap. A few weeks ago we organized a drink at Spijs en Spraakwater, which was very successful! From arrival to the end, we have experienced exceptional service. The team, both the wait staff and the kitchen, were very attentive throughout the evening. The food was very well prepared and looked after, and tasted delicious! The ambiance completely matched the fun and atmosphere, which is also important. I would definitely recommend Spijs en Spraakwater, both for larger groups and a small group.
J	Jan Van Dam on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Voor het eerst bij Spijs en Spraakwater gegeten. Het ziet er leuk uit qua interieur met een enthousiast, maar jong (lees onervaren) team. Het was duidelijk dat het team de drukte niet aan kon. Een uur wachten op je voorgerecht is gewoon te lang. Maar goed dat kan gebeuren, als het eten maar goed is. De menukaart is ambitieus en wekt hiermee een bepaalde verwachting qua kwaliteit. Deze verwachting wordt helaas niet waar gemaakt. Een lamsrack op het menu bleek in de praktijk 3 doorbakken koteletten te zijn met een instant roomsaus. De bijbehorende seizoensgroenten werden niet eens geserveerd. Al met al erg jammer en een gemiste kans… Ate at Spijs en Speechwater for the first time. It looks nice in terms of interior with an enthusiastic, but young (read inexperienced) team. It was clear the team couldn't handle the crowds. Waiting an hour for your entree is just too long. But hey, that can happen, as long as the food is good. The menu is ambitious and therefore raises a certain expectation in terms of quality. Unfortunately, this expectation is not fulfilled. A rack of lamb on the menu turned out to be 3 well done cutlets with an instant cream sauce. The accompanying seasonal vegetables were not even served. All in all a pity and a missed opportunity…
