Bar Rouge - Singel 460

Expectations were very high however the experience was bad. Overpriced place with low quality of food. The staff is not welcoming, they could be more engaging with the guests. Not coming back again.

Great atmosphere and nice service, sushi was delicious, but the meat platter didn't fit the theme in my opinion. Website describes it as fine dining experience and that was more of a "borrel plankje" you would get at a cheap bar, tasted good just doesn't worth the price and doesn't match the vibe at all. Also we wouldn't mind paying extra for the food, as we thought we're paying for the show, but the show was a real disappointment - 4 songs and 1 dance, rest of the night just very loud music so you can't even talk to each ,very boring, so we left quite soon. Don't know if it's due to corona or we were on a wrong day, but hope they fix it for the future or mention it more clearly on the website to avoid disappointing the guests

At Bar Rouge they do things right. Good drinks good food great entertainment and wonderful service. The place has a great vibe. Will be back soon.

We went for a lunch on Saturday just before the 3rd Lockdown. The image of Bar Rouge is advertised as a "fine-dining/exclusive" restaurant on their website, with strict reservation policy and dress code. However, it made me feel like a club/borrel ish nothing was fine dining there. Let's me tell you why: 1. The show was great but only few songs and a dance, that's all. It didn't worth it. We expected a stage with proper performances not like that. With friends it could be fun, but for a date, it may be not the right one. 2. Dirty glasses. They made kind of a fine dining set up but water & wine glasses were dirty. 3. Slow service. Waiters were friendly and pretty but the service was super slow. Drinks and food took so long to arrive to the table. We had to ask several times for attention for new orders or removing dirty plates. A fine-dining restaurant shouldn't be like that. 4. Quality of the food was ok, but they didn't make me "wow". Tuna wasn't fresh and smelly that's a big No-No for sushi. At the end, the group next to me just stood up and danced like it's a club, i mean they were dancing next to me when still sat there. It's kinda disturbing and unpleasant. So we asked for our desserts quickly and left. I know that restaurant makes their profit by selling alcohol, but please don't focus only on one "V.I.P" table but care about other tables too. We saw other guests also left because of that table but the staff said nothing. To sum up, if you want to have fun with friends and want to have "drinking & eating when clubbing" experience then give Bar Rouge a try. But if you are looking for a fine dining restaurant with a fancy atmosphere, professional service and decent perfomances it could not be a right one.

Vibe is fun and the place is pretty but that’s about it. The fish was not fresh and tasteless, service was friendly but extremely slow and unprofessional. To call this fine dining is bold and quite frankly, a lie. It’s a below average dinner in a club, with a terrible sound system and high prices that raise high expectations. Unfortunately they don’t live up to it at all.

My evening was great, i love entertaining while having dinner. but it ended too early. We had to eat quickly because we started 20.30 and the Club got closed at 22:00 hr At a point i didnt wanted to go home actually ?

Incredible evening at the Bar Rouge Drag night! Pricey at €65 a head but €50 does go towards food and drinks. The Drag performers we saw were amazing and the atmosphere for a Monday night was excellent. Would certainly recommend ?
