Had a uitsmijter with tomato and ham for lunch and it was really nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bar/restaurant is just a few steps away from the 'Oude Markt'. We went over there for a late breakfast.We had Eggs Benedict and cappuccino. All good in a very nice atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The terrace is beautiful, the food was ok, but there was no menu in English and the staff had really poor English too. They were not super helpful when we politely asked for some help with translation and had questions over their dishes. They messed up our order too and didn’t apologize, but awkwardly left..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Six stars as far as I'm concerned! Waiters were very nice. Thee starter and main were delivered fast. The starter, bread with tapenade, was very good and the main, bardotburger..... nomnomnom.... Good taste, nice sauce, spicy and the included French fries were nice an crispy. Oh and the included salad was also excellent. Only the wine, a syrah, was not so much to my liking but that's personal taste I guess.
My girlfriend had the Coq au vin (chicken in red wine) which I would also happily recommend after the taste I had

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a three course meal here. Mainly because the entree was great. Service was also excellent.
However, main dish the potato gratin was overwhelmed by the herbes de provence they put in, so that's all you tasted and the dessert a moulleux was still cold on the inside.
Overall it wasn't bad, but it definitly isn't a I'll come back experience.
