About Barista Cafe
Wat in 2009 begon als een droom om de beste koffie te serveren in Alphen aan den Rijn, is nu uitgegroeid tot een Coffee Concept met meer dan 20 vestigingen. Het doel was om een gezellige ontmoetingsplek te creëren waar iedereen kon genieten van prachtige en ambachtelijke producten. Jaren later blikken we terug en zien we dat onze gasten ons waarderen voor de aandacht die wij ieder product geven en de aandacht die we aan de gast zelf besteden. Barista Cafe is daarmee een begrip geworden.

The cappuccino is good which it comes with an nougat (we like it)
The brownie was ok to eat it with the cappuccino
The tuna sandwich was ok but pricey at least for me
Nice to spend some time there
Ask for alcohol and the plant gelatin

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coffee is great, highly recommended. Too bad people without a Maestro card (most foreigners) can't pay here as ordinary Master/Visa debet/credit cards are not accepted. That's the reason for only 3 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big disappointment. I asked for strong, hot coffee, I got semi-cold coffee. I complained I got coffee without the coffee, I asked if it was coffee or a glass of milk? I got coffee again which was not hot.
Unprofessional staff, use a pottery jar rather than a metal jar to heat the milk and this is why the milk does not boil and therefore the coffee is not hot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious foods and amazing coffee :-) very friendly and good service. I had a salmon & mushroom flatbread (€8,25) and a pumpkin spice latte macchiato (€3,95) which were very tasty and good value for money. Would definitely come back here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I could give 2.5 stars but it's not possible... Staff are nice and polite.. Environment is cozy.. There is outdoor space and its nice when the sun is shining... i ordered a Traditional Breakfast as you can see in the photos.. Till here everything is fine.. BUT..
1. The butter was outdated (they've changed it)
2. One small piece of bread for the whole breakfast and you need to buy extra slices if you want!
3. There was no plate for excesses like eggshell..
4. Banana cake was fresh but quite small!
5. Croissant was smaller than my normal thumb! X-small size
6. Fresh orange juice in a size of small glass.. Very small..
7. What tradition was this combination?
8. VERY IMPORTANT: based on what i got, it's quite expensive.. €10.25
Dear barista cafe, you need to revise your pricing and match it with what you deliver..
