★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Egmond aan Zee beach was lovely. Zeepardje restaurant has a terrace closed in with glass, making it unbelievably hot. The waitress was dressed like a traffic warden, not very appropriate for a beach club and the food average.

They didn’t let us in because we were a couple ( of 2 woman ) the waitress said they didn’t have a table for us because we were 2 and they only had table for 4. When we looked around there were a lot of couples sitting in a table for 4. Im still trying to figure it out what happened ... the old couple that arrived just after us. They could sit. Is it because we were a couple of 2 woman, is it because we are foreigners is it because we have dark skin? I didn’t stay to find out but until now I have no idea why everyone else but us. If I could give zero! I would!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a beautiful day on the beach and at lunchtime Zeepaardje offered us shelter from the wind. Kind and welcoming service, super quick preparation, good food and relax.
We had a classic uitsmijter, nothing fancy but the ingredients were fresh, the presentation very nice and the portions abundant.
Top it off with a fair price and you know why I will surely visit them again and try the rest of the menu!
