Hoe krijg ik die mooie, speciale geluiden uit die kleine pedaalkastjes? Hoe moet ik ze aansluiten en er dan ook nog mee kunnen spelen? Gelukkig vond ik de site van Jisse Vink&Rosalind Beall. Wat heb ik nu al tijdens de afgelopen 8 lessen veel geleerd bij Jisse. Zowel theoretisch als praktisch vind ik Jisse zeer kundig en hij brengt de lessen duidelijk en op een rustige manier enthousiast over. Elke week is het weer een genot om te mogen lessen. Behalve effecten leer ik toch ook veel over gitaarspelen! Ik hoop nog lang zowel gitaar- als effectenles te volgen en gelet op de mogelijkheden die Jisse biedt kan ik daar zeker nog wel een tijd mee vooruit. De leslocatie (in Noorddijk, vlakbij Lewenborg, Groningen) is top: Kerkenheem. De Stefanuskerk ernaast kan gebruikt worden voor opnames. Een aanrader? Zeer zeker! Guitar lessons? No, I already play the guitar, so you don't really have to take lessons! I would like to have lessons in guitar effects. How do I get those beautiful, special sounds from those little pedal boxes? How do I connect them and then be able to play with them? Fortunately I found the site of Jisse Vink & Rosalind Beall. I have already learned a lot during the past 8 lessons at Jisse. Both theoretically and practically I find Jisse very skilled and he conveys the lessons clearly and enthusiastically in a calm manner. Every week it is a pleasure to have lessons. Besides effects, I also learn a lot about guitar playing! I hope to take both guitar and effects lessons for a long time to come and given the possibilities that Jisse offers I can certainly go ahead with that for a while. The class location (in Noorddijk, near Lewenborg, Groningen) is top: Church heme. The Stephen's Church next door can be used for recordings. Recommended? Definitely!
K	Karinka Kasemier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Persoonlijke aandacht voor de interesses van de leerling qua muziek. Goede communicatie. De muziekleraar kan goed met kinderen omgaan, mijn zoon is erg enthousiast, ook al moet hij er even aan wennen dat hij thuis ook moet oefenen. Tijdens de lessen wordt er ook met regelmaat een ander type gitaar meegenomen zodat ook daarmee kan worden kennis gemaakt, dat vindt mijn zoontje ook helemaal geweldig, met name toen de elektrische gitaar door de leraar werd meegenomen. Meerdere muziekstijlen komen aan bod. Ik ben erg blij dat ik deze muziekleraar heb gevonden, kan het 100% aanraden! Personal attention to the student's interests in music. Good communication. The music teacher is good with children, my son is very enthusiastic, even though he has to get used to having to practice at home as well. De online lessen via Skype zijn ook zeker goed geregeld. Ze heeft meerdere camera's, zodat alles goed te volgen is! Ik ga elke week weer met ontzettend veel plezier naar Rosalind toe, en hoop ook nog lang bij haar te mogen blijven The guitar lessons at Rosalind are very nice! She has a lot of patience, explains everything well and clearly and provides a challenge every lesson. The online lessons via Skype are certainly well organized. She has multiple cameras, so that everything can be followed! I go to Rosalind every week with great pleasure, and hope to stay with her for a long time to come

Klassiek, maar ook elektrisch gitaar, rock, jazz, ... en altijd met evenveel plezier. Zij had geen betere leerkrachten kunnen kiezen om gitaar te leren spelen, en ze zijn ook heel fijne mensen. Nog veel succes My daughter has been taking lessons with Rosalind (and also with Jisse) since she was 7, now almost 9 years. Classical, but also electric guitar, rock, jazz, ... and always with the same amount of fun. She couldn't have chosen better teachers to learn to play the guitar, and they are also very nice people. A	All7purpose on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our eldest son (16 years old) has been studying guitar with Jisse since he was 6 years old with only a short break when Jisse moved to the Netherlands (we are based in Belgium). We did not think on-line lessons would work at first, but two events led us back to Jisse; the lockdown induced by the Covid-19 pandemic, forcing all lessons on-line, and Jisse himself. You would be hard pushed to find anyone with Jisse’s guitar playing capabilities (technique, musicality, range, etc.), his responsiveness to students’ (and parents’) needs and tastes, and above all his ability to inspire and motivate children of all ages, even or perhaps especially, on-line. To quote our son: “It’s always super fun”, “I can’t wait to try out what I learnt today”, “He taught me new things I can add to my improvisation” “the lessons always leave me motivated to play guitar”. As parents, we have watched our son’s ability grow and taste evolve throughout the years, moving between genres (classical, rock, jazz, improvisation) and always feeling happy and inspired by Jisse. Thanks to the internet, our son can continue learning with Jisse from anywhere around the world. If you are interested in learning guitar, you need not look further. Would highly recommend booking with Jisse. Jisse is extremely well equipped to deliver high quality lessons online and is as adept with the latest technology as he is with guitar.

I am now in Madrid and recently started classes again via Skype. It works great! Classes are great, adapted to your level (whichever level you are in) and playing what you want to play. The teacher also proposes exercises to improve the technique you need to play your favorite music, which makes the learning very effective. You can choose the mix theory vs playing and the dynamic is very informal. I couldn't be happier with this and will continue to take classes for as long as I can.

From each lesson I take home as least one valuable advice. We work through pieces an at the end it is always about music: how can I make it sound good.
