★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice and cool place away from urban hustle bustle, a pure country side, a Hamlet, villege comprising pretty looking small plotted homes, narrow lanes within and surrounded by sweet water lake, perhaps the biggest lake of The Netherlands. Locals reportedly engaged in small, small home based industries or occupations based on surrounded natural resources but rich enough to lead a pretty decent life. Among others, wooden shoe making factory is popular here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited the wooden shor factory. The person there showed how wooden shoes are made and explained about the wood they use and stuff related to it. And the place was very beautiful and a very calm place. Just beside the lake.
