★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Alkmaar En me neus doet het nog steeds,,ik denk wat is dat nu in de verte Prachtige Synagoge zo tussen de huizen zichtbaar Heel veel weet ik er niet van Maar smul van zulke mooie gebouwen
 In Alkmaar My nose still works ,, I think what is that now in the distance Beautiful Synagogue so visible between the houses I don't know much about it But enjoy such beautiful buildings

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waren er bij open monumentendag. Wat is dit een pareltje geworden na de verbouwing. Authentieke sfeer ondanks dat vrijwel alles vernieuwd is. Knap gedaan.
We were there at open monument day. What a gem this has become after the renovation. Authentic atmosphere despite the fact that almost everything has been renewed. Well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heel mooi gerestaureerde synagoge en bijgebouw, nu weer in gebruik voor diensten en vieringen. Maakt joods leven in Alkmaar en omgeving weer mogelijk. Synagoge is regelmatig open voor bezoekers zoals op monumentendag.
Very nicely restored synagogue and outbuilding, now in use again for services and celebrations. Makes Jewish life in Alkmaar and the surrounding area possible again. Synagogue is regularly open to visitors such as on Monument Day.
