About Bersantai Hair
Etienne doet het liefst de grote behandelingen waarbij je echt het gevoel van een make-over krijgt. Maar daarvoor hoef je heus niet met unicorn-hair de deur uit! Etienne gaat voor streetfashion.
Zowel nationaal als internationaal heeft Etienne een schat aan ervaring opgebouwd. Naast Bersantai, werkt hij ook als freelance artist and educator voor KMS en geeft hij trainingen in binnen- en buitenland. Hij heeft lesgegeven aan de Barber School in Amsterdam en gaf gastlessen aan het Alpha college in Groningen. Ook binnen de Nederlandse fashion- en tv-wereld heeft hij z'n skills kunnen vertonen, door backstage te werken tijdens de Amsterdam Fashion Week en voor tv-programma ‘ De Verleiders’.
Deze kapper met Groningse roots is na 4 jaar teruggekomen uit de randstad om zich 100% op zijn doel te kunnen richten: Een salon vol liefde voor het kappersvak: Technisch en creatief mooi haar creëren met hoogstaande producten en de laatste knip-, kleur- en stijltechnieken. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooie sfeer en mooie mensen. Voelde me meteen op mijn gemak en ontspannen toen ik binnenkwam. Etienne nam de tijd om goed naar mij te luisteren over wat ik wilde, en deed precies dat. En de kapsel is super vet ?
Lovely atmosphere and lovely people. Immediately felt comfortable and relaxed when I walked in. Etienne took the time to listen to me carefully about what I wanted, and did just that. And the haircut is super cool ?

I'm sooo satisfied, so I'll write even more specified review for those who struggle finding a great hairstylist!
Living in Netherlands for more than 4 years, I had to keep going to new hair salon each time, ended up trying 10+ different hairdressers. This time, finally came across Bersantai Hair and gave it a try, and I'm super happy!
Very welcoming and chill atmosphere from the start, very comfy waiting lounge with nice green plants around you!
They started right on time, they made me sooo comfortable to communicate what I want, and helped me to translate it from my mind to a professional execution! (Which is rare because some hairdressers from my past experiences just gave cold intimidating vibes hindering me to say what i want). They really put the time and effort to meticulously work with my hair, ending it with a nice styling!
Definitely a gem! Definitely recommended! Thank you, Etienne and Fabrizio! ♡

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been wanting to make a review for these guys for awhile because they are both absolutely amazing.
You do not just pay for people who will skillfully cut/style your hair, but you also receive very friendly and sweet service! They instantly make you feel comfortable at home, and always offer you something to drink with a side of spekkoek :) Since I am also part Indonesian, it was really fun to bond with them about having Indo-Dutch culture since I come from the USA. Their personalities are so chill, casual, and very accepting. :D
I think it is also worth mentioning that I have never found someone who has ever cut/styled my hair so well (Etienne was my hairdresser). In America, I have been to sooo many hairdressers who always have a very hard time with my REALLY REALLY thick hair, and I had to start paying more for people who knew how to take care of the thick hair (because surprisingly a lot of hairdressers do not know how to...). But, Etienne 100% knows his stuff and I have never been so amazed at my own hair until I started going here because HE KNOWS how it should be (for half the price that I used to pay back at home too)! I literally will not go back to any of my old hairdressers because these guys are so great. I promise you will not be disappointed with their skills or even the overall experience. If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would!!! Thank you Etienne & Fabrizio!
