★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been a nice stay at the Best Western, the hotel itself is nicely placed near the city centre of Gouda. The staff is pretty obliging and very helpful, the rooms have nice interieur and are clean and very comfortable. One thing that's not understandable nowadays, the toothbrush mugs are made out of plastic and displayed in plastic bags. There are other solutions to have hygienic and clean toothbrush mugs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I travel a lot for work. I normally travel in the States. I spend most of my time and Hilton properties. I was skeptical about staying at a Best Western. But I have to say this place was amazing. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place. The rooms are large for Europe. Everything was fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thought we have booked à 4 stars decent hôtel, unfortunately, not!!
First day check-in found à room full of dust every where, even on the top the catle! Looked like they did not clean the room since we have made the booking which is 2 weeks prior arrival.
We couldn't put our 6 month baby sleep in the baby cot as it was full of dust, plus they used queen bed sheets to cover the babycot mat.. it made the mattress simply not flat, they just packed the sheets under the mattress..
2nd day, I raised the issue to the General manager, very nice and kind person but unfortunately not enough to fix the cleanless of the room..
We literally got the bedsheets of the babycot changed only 2 times with our daily reminder.
They come clean the room and simply forget the most important thing which is the babycot!
Their houskeeping service is only until 1pm, so if your baby is sleeping you have 2 choices. Either you wake up your baby, or you accept to not clean your room! This is how it works in Netherlands and this is what the receptionist on morning shift told me.
Réception evening shift crew very welcoming and nice!!
Restaurant crew very nice as well.
Hôtel location is very close to the downtown!
I Wish my review could help improve the houskeeping service!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a pleasant and enjoyable stay here. Great check-in experience with nice BW Rewards recognition and all pleasantries you could ask for.
The hotel is modern, clean and centrally located in Gouda. Very close to city centre and station. All rooms are named after (historical) sights in town. Overall I felt the value for money proposition was excellent.
Looking forward to staying here once again, and thank you for the brilliant experience.
