About Biber Bunker

DE STICHTING
Sinds 14 januari 2013 zijn wij een stichting, genaamd “de Stichting Biberbunker Oostvoorne”.

Jaarlijks draagt de Stichting zorg voor rondleidingen in de Biberbunker en de Stelling, gezamenlijk vormend de radarstelling Biber. Deze Stelling ligt in de duinen van Oostvoorne en bestond uit een groot aantal bouwwerken en bunkers. Deze laatste zijn allen nog aanwezig.

Sinds 2016 is er een actief beleid gevormd om meerdere bunkers begaanbaar te krijgen, dit mede dankzij subsidies van de Provincie Zuid-Holland, waarvoor wij hen enorm erkentelijk zijn.
Sterker nog, omdat we een geheel belangeloze organisatie zijn, die steunt op de hulp van diverse vrijwilligers, is ondersteuning in welke vorm dan ook (financieel, materieel), noodzakelijk.

Door het openmaken van deze bunkers en de samenwerking met het Zuid-Hollands Landschap kunnen we ook rondleidingen (Duin / Bunkertour) door de Stelling Biber verzorgen.

Vanzelfsprekend zijn externe betrokkenen, sponsors en “vrienden” een belangrijke factor en onmisbaar in het slagen van deze onderneming.

Een beknopte rondleiding om de mensen kennis te laten maken met de bunkers (Atlantikwall) die door de Duitsers gebouwd zijn tijdens WO II. In deze bunker werd alle telefoon- en radio verkeer ondergebracht zodat men zoveel mogelijk geallieerde bommenwerpers die richting Duitsland vlogen te kunnen liquideren. De Biberbunkerd heeft enkele verdiepingen ingedeeld in vele verschillende kamers met metalen deuren. De muren zijn maar liefst 3 meter dik. Enkele vrijwilligers zijn begonnen aan de restauratie van de bunkers, inrichting en proberen na te bootsen hoe het leven er was. Jammer genoeg wordt dit te weinig ondersteund door de gemeente en overheid waardoor de vrijwilligers rekenen op de bezoekers die een centje in de lade kunnen brengen voor verder afwerking. Het is ECHT een aanrader en leerrijk, ook voor kinderen vanaf 7 jaar. Het zou jammer zijn dat dit stukje geschiedenis zou verloren gaan? It was Biberbunkerdag today. A brief tour to introduce the people to the bunkers (Atlantic Wall) that were built by the Germans during WWII. All telephone and radio traffic was accommodated in this bunker so that as many allied bombers as possible flying to Germany could be wound up. The Biberbunkerd has several floors divided into many different rooms with metal doors. The walls are no less than 3 meters thick. A few volunteers have started the restoration of the bunkers, furnishing and trying to imitate what life was like. Unfortunately, this is not supported enough by the municipality and government, so that the volunteers count on the visitors who can spend a penny in the drawer for further finishing. It is REALLY recommended and educational, also for children from 7 years. It would be a shame that this piece of history would be lost?
P	Patrick van der Vlies on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer de moeite waard. Erg interessant. Entree goedkoop, terwijl ze heel weinig subsidie krijgen, dus erg afhankelijk zijn van de entree prijs en giften. Well worth it. Very interesting. Entrance cheap, while they receive very little subsidy, so they are very dependent on the entrance price and donations.
M	Max Franke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waren wederom in de buurt en nu speciaal op zoek gegaan. Helaas niet altijd opengesteld voor bezoekers. Zie daarvoor de foto's. Maar interessant genoeg om op een van de bezoekdagen aan te sluiten vinden wij. We zijn dus benieuwd wat er hier geboden wordt. Verder een mooie omgeving met onder andere de "Duinhuisjes", restaurant "de Meidoorn" en de "Tenellaplas". We were in the area again and now we had a special search. Unfortunately not always open to visitors. See the photos for this. But interesting enough to join one of the visiting days, we think. So we are curious about what is on offer here. Furthermore, a beautiful environment including the "Duinhuisjes", restaurant "de Meidoorn" and the "Tenellaplas".

Świetnie zachowany do teraźniejszych czasów jeden z trzech bunkier niemieckich sił powietrznych z muzeum funkcjonujący do 1945 roku. W późniejszym latach pełnił funkcję w czasie "zimnej wojny". Dzięki uprzejmości osoby utrzymującej schron w kondycji do zwiedzania obiektu miałem okazję obejrzeć główne pomieszczenia i infrastrukturę. Zapraszam wszystkich pasjonatów i nie tylko do zwiedzania.
