★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De bibliotheek heeft een ruim aanbod aan romans voor jeugd en volwassenen, informatieve boeken en tijdschriften. Er is ook een geheel eigen Schiermonnikoog-collectie. Wat niet in de vestiging staat vragen de medewerkers graag voor je aan. Zoek je informatie over welk onderwerp dan ook, helpen de medewerkers je graag verder. Je kunt er gebruik maken van Wifi of een computer met internet (dit laatste tegen betaling).
De bibliotheek verzorgt naast deze uitleen- en informatiediensten ook advies op het gebied van mediawijsheid, ondersteunt bij het leren lezen en organiseert uiteenlopende activiteiten voor verschillende doelgroepen.
The library has a wide selection of novels for youth and adults, informative books and magazines. There is also a completely own Schiermonnikoog collection. The staff are happy to request what is not in the branch for you. If you are looking for information on any subject, the staff will gladly help you further. You can use WiFi or a computer with internet (the latter for a fee).
In addition to these lending and information services, the library also provides advice on media literacy, supports learning to read and organizes various activities for different target groups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Bücherei hat zwar nur eine kleine Abteilung deutscher Kinder- und Jugendbücher, aber das reicht vollkommen für den Urlaub! Kinder bekommen kostenlos eine Ausleihkarte und können bis zu 10 Bücher auf ein Mal ausleihen. Die Bibliothekarin ist wahnsinnig nett und spricht sehr gut Deutsch. Für Kinder und Jugendliche super!!
The library has only a small section of German children's and teen books, but that's enough for the holidays! Children get a free rental card and can borrow up to 10 books at once. The librarian is very nice and speaks very good German. Great for kids and teenagers !!
