Great place with beautiful rooms and of course a great hostess who arranges everything to perfection. Delicious enjoyed this place!
V	Vonyne Linden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk in de dijk weggekropen. Een plek om tot rust te komen. Deventer in de buurt maar ook volop natuur in de buurt. Heerlijk om te wandelen of te fiesten. Delicious crept into the dike. A place to unwind. Deventer in the neighborhood but also plenty of nature in the neighborhood. Great for walking or cycling.

Leuk huisje en je kan van alles doen in de buurt. Zeker de moeite waard!!! This is highly recommended !! Beautiful and picturesque location on the IJssel. Nice owners, received us warmly! Nice house and you can do everything in the area. Certainly worth it !!!

Twee prachtige slaapkamers met douches. Beautifully situated and renovated house. Nice view over the IJssel and the windmill from the living room. Well-equipped kitchen. Two beautiful bedrooms with showers.

M	Michèle Barendse on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ons verblijf in De Droomengel, was helaas niet helemaal wat wij ervan verwacht hadden. Op de site zag het er allemaal prachtig uit. Eenmaal binnen in de slaapkamer met de dubbele douche, was het erg vochtig en klam, de handdoeken droogde ook niet binnen in die ruimte. Het beddengoed was ook klam en heel oncomfortabel om in te slapen. Erg koud en vochtig. De BBQ bij het verblijf was ook niet handig, je moet de drukke weg langs, dan afdalen naar beneden, bij een onverzorgde plek, wat niet uitnodigen om te zitten. De woonkamer met keuken boven was wel prima, geen vocht probleem. Aan de gastvrouw gemeld, maar die wuifde het weg en het vochtprobleem had ze nog nooit over gehoord. En zei als laatste dat ze voorlopig toch al volgeboekt zat. Met een arrogantie, van het zal wel. Jammer, wij komen in ieder geval niet meer terug. Wel in deze omgeving het er prachtig! Unfortunately, our stay at De Droomengel was not quite what we expected. Everything looked great on the site. Once inside the bedroom with the double shower, it was very damp and clammy, the towels didn't dry inside that room either. The bedding was also clammy and very uncomfortable to sleep in. Very cold and damp. The BBQ at the stay was also not useful, you have to go along the busy road, then descend down, in an unkempt place, which is not inviting to sit. The living room with kitchen upstairs was fine, no moisture problem. Reported to the hostess, but she waved it away and she had never heard of the moisture problem. And finally said that she was already fully booked for the time being. With an arrogance, of course. Too bad, we won't be coming back anyway. Well in this area it is beautiful!
A	A van Gastel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ons verblijf is helaas toch een erg negatieve ervaring geweest aangezien de slaapkamers ( op begane grond) heel erg vochtig en muf zijn. Bij binnenkomst meteen een muur van muffe lucht, eenmaal boven heb je daar geen last van. Onbegrijpelijk dat dat door niemand beschreven wordt in alle recensies die ik heb gelezen op allerlei sites waar deze accommodatie wordt aangeboden. Tevens is het terras aan de tuin-kant te bereiken door een eind te lopen langs de dijk, dan stijl naar beneden door knie hoog gras en een trieste aanblik als je daar dan eenmaal bent. Te vies om plaats te nemen op de lounge set, kussens zaten onder de pissebedden, spinnenwebben op de bbq…. erg jammer want wij hadden gerekend op een bruikbaar terras. Vandaar dat de droomengel maar 2 sterren krijgt. Unfortunately, our stay has been a very negative experience as the bedrooms (on the ground floor) are very damp and musty. Upon entering you immediately see a wall of stale air, once at the top you won't be bothered by that. Incomprehensible that this is not described by anyone in all the reviews I have read on all kinds of sites where this accommodation is offered. The terrace on the garden side can also be reached by walking a bit along the dike, then steeply down through knee high grass and a sad sight once you get there. Too dirty to sit on the lounge set, pillows were covered with woodlice, cobwebs on the bbq…. very unfortunate because we had counted on a usable terrace. That's why the dream angel only gets 2 stars.
