Voor 1 euro kun je zelf een liter (of minder) gekoelde verse ('rauwe') melk tappen in je eigen schone meegebrachte fles. Of je kunt voor 50 ct. een plastic literfles kopen ter plaatse. Bij de rotonde in Hoogmade staan diverse houten borden die je de weg wijzen naar de pipowagen met biologische melk zelf-tap. Als het hek toch dicht zit tijdens de openingstijden, komt het vaak omdat de koeien net gemolken worden. Je kunt te voet dan links naast het grote hek over het bruggetje (de plank over het slootje) toch naar de pipowagen lopen. This makes me so happy! A handy tap with fresh organic milk, from the cows you see walking in the pasture. For 1 euro you can pour a liter (or less) of cooled fresh ('raw') milk into your own clean bottle. Or you can buy a plastic liter bottle for 50 cents on the spot. At the roundabout in Hoogmade there are various wooden signs that show you the way to the gypsy wagon with organic milk self-tap. If the gate is closed during opening hours, it is often because the cows are just being milked. You can still walk to the gypsy wagon on foot to the left of the large gate over the bridge (the plank over the ditch).
K	Kevin L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome!! Since moving to Koudekerk aan den Rijn I have missed my local melktap in Zwammerdam. This one is bio -- which is all I can drink. I cannot have commercial milk for medical reasons. So I don't mind the bike ride from home to here. I can also stop by on my way home from working at the Caucausia kwekerij in Oud Ade. Perfect location -- excellent (very cold) milk.
