β β β β β We hired Nina for our second pregnancy. In the last month I felt unprepared for birth and she managed to calm me down. My first birth was at the hospital and the second time I wanted to do it at home. She always took time for me and my questions. She was very responsive, replying even late in the evenings.
In the end I had perfect birth and during labour I haven't had any second thoughts about giving birth at home at all.
If you want to have doula who gives you feeling that you are her most important client ever, you should hire Nina.

β β β β β I would absolutely recommend Nina as a very professional guide to Birthing journey as YOU want, she guides woman through her own wishes and feelings smoothly, carefully and very gentle. She is very lovely, mom alike in my perspective. Woman in labor need someone who is a little bit like their mother, careful and lovable.
In my birthing journey Nina made not 100% but all 200%, I do appreciate her impact very much, her trust and that she believed with me together and didnβt pushed in any not needed movements. I imagined her as my mom being nearby me while I was in labor and at pregnancy time. Her soft and gentle moms arms where holding me and somewhere her voice was whispering in my ear that βYOU CAN DO IT, You are STRONG!β It gave me powers and trust in myself.
My birth of my precious second child was something I was dreaming about! I truly recommend Nina! Love her with all my heart! She is having there a place ??

As someone who has spent the whole pregnancy process in the hospital with doctors, I can easily say that Nina's presence as a doula during birth changed the whole atmosphere. She never withdrew her support after the birth course and always stood by us with all the options and guidance whenever we called, regardless of it as a job. My husband and I still say to each other that we cannot imagine what this process would be like without her. When things do not go as imagined weeks before the birth or when the birth begins, Nina is with you with her confidence, energy and knowledge: priceless.

She's attentive, available, warm, but also has a very practical non-dogmatic approach, thanks to her academic background. β β β β β Nina was absolutely nessasary and instrumental in accomplishing our goal of a home water birth. Over the course of our pregnancy we saw Nina many times and grew closer and more comfortable with each visit. By the time labor started Nina had become like family to us and for my husband and I, expats alone in the Netherlands without family, that was exactly the kind of support we needed. She is knowledgeable, experienced, kind, confident, carrying, loving and during childbirth she never stopped massaging, helping come up with ways to progress labor and be a steadfast rock of support. Would recommend Nina to any one and would definitely have her again if we have any more babies β€οΈ

β β β β β I cannot recommend Nina highly enough. We initially did a hypnobirthing course with her and decided to hire Nina as our doula after meeting her and instantly clicking. We loved the skills and information Nina provided us; from her scientific background as well as Spinning Babies and other trainings. She really is the complete package and made us feel so relaxed and ready in the run up to the birth with multiple visits and phone support. She makes you feel like she has all the time in the world for you and no question is too stupid.
During labour Nina supported via phone initally during a long and inconsistent latent phase, then coming to our house to use multiple techniques to get the ball rolling. It worked a treat and labour progressed rapidly. Nina helped me keep in the zone and get through the surges. Unfortunately our birth did not quite go to plan and became a medical emergency. It's no exaggeration to say that I honestly don't know how we would have coped without her. She remained calm and in control of the situation which meant my husband and I did not go into panic mode. She supported my husband on the trip to hospital, waiting until knowing everything was OK and even doing a midnight trip to our house to collect items left in haste. Over the next days she supported us in hospital, helped us begin to process the birth, cleaned our house and cooked lots of delicious meals for us. Having no family around meant this support was invaluable to us and I cannot express how grateful I am for her help and support.

Not only she is caring and attentive, but also she has deep knowledge and a wide range of skills to help throughout pregnancy and birth. Nina was very proactive, always ready for action and we knew that we can count on her no matter what. We shared beautiful moments with her during the birth of our daughter where she was my most important support besides my husband.
