★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since the closure of their store on Kalverstraart, the Blokker store on Rozengracht has taken over as the flagship store for the city centre. Formerly a family run business, dating back to their first store which opened in Hoorn in 1896, the founding family sold out to Mirage Holding Group BV in April 2019.
With two floors of retail space, Blokker Rozengracht is a one stop store for household items and appliances. There are many items on offer ranging from electronics to pots and pans and a huge variety of cleaning items. Regular sales are held to entice new and existing customers. Goods can also be ordered online. Products are generally of good quality and prices are reasonable being competitive with similar items sold in the area's local supermarkets and hardware stores/

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ General merchandise store with lots of items from small household appliances to cleaning supplies and decorative. I asked a young clerk for a mobile phone holder for car, he said “no” and shrugged. I asked another young woman who said “Yes” and found it for me-hidden in a corner upstairs. It was <€10 also!
Moral of the story, look hard for yourself or ask twice!
