- Don’t show up hungry. The best way to avoid overdoing it on the cheese plate before dinner even starts? Don’t show up hungry! Try eating a protein rich snack an hour before the party starts. With something already in your stomach you’re more likely to snack moderately instead of feasting on the first thing you see.
- Delay gratification. Practice delayed gratification instead of restriction. Don’t deny yourself, delay yourself. If you want to have a drink, try waiting an hour after the party starts to have the first one. If you love sweets, try saving them for the end of the day. Restriction will likely result in overconsumption while delaying will not.
- Conscious indulging. Choose to indulge! Rather than mindlessly eating whatever is put in front of you, scan the table for your absolute favorite food and go for it. Enjoy the foods you love wholeheartedly and don’t consume for the sake of consuming.
- Hydrate. It’s not uncommon for our brain to mistake thirst for hunger. If you find yourself constantly snacking and feeling a bit too full or bloated at the end of the day, mind your water intake. About half an hour before you start eating, try drinking 500ml of water. (It’s important to wait that half an hour so your gastric juices can get back up and running which will aid in proper digestion.)
- Be compassionate. Give yourself a break and permission to relax and enjoy.

β β β β β I have been often passing by Body Time and I eventually entered to check if I could get what I was looking for: small group circuit training focused on condition and body shape.
That was 2 years ago. I'm still a happy member. I enjoy the trainings, the attention that I receive during classes, and the cozy atmosphere of a neighbourhood-gym.

β β β β β Amazingly friendly & effective gym. Love the personal classes and the variation of exercises and intensity. The trainers run a 2 month program so you can focus on the lifts you want to improve and learn something new.

β β β β β Becoming a BodyTime member has been one of the best choices I've made in the past year. At first I was a bit sceptical towards gym classes (in general), but ever since I joined, I'm hooked! A variety of different classes for fair prices!
I love the community at BT; everyone is genuinely nice! The trainers are very professional and knowledgeable, and will help you achieve your goals. I trust the trainers completely, and would sincerely recommend BodyTime for anyone, regardless of their goals.

The small 8 person (max) classes mean they can tailor the sessions to each individual in the room, from day 1 beginner through to advanced lifters. I can always get a space in the classes I want - and there is a whole range, including mobility, strength, and HIIT style sessions

They did such a wonderful job on creating a safe place where people can come as they are, and share that time with others while training. Trainers are always there with listening ears and are there to answer any of the questions we have. This is not just. a gym but a beautiful community and space they created for the people. β β β β β I have only been a member for a couple of months but I can say that I felt an amazing atmosphere at BodyTime from day 1 on!
The trainers have a very special approach towards sports and movement. Individual needs are always taken care of while encouraging team and community spirit. All this creates a very safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
It is the first gym I have been to very body-mind awareness and intense training sessions come together!
Can only recommend for anyone, not matter the goals or fitness level!
