★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke plek om familie weekend te houden, leuk huisje met bar etc. Ook zijn er skelters om op het terrein mee te rijden.
Nice place to have a family weekend, nice house with bar etc. There are also go-karts to ride on site.

Everything neat, but for showering, hot water must be paid extra. Few possibilities for bad weather, no recreation room. Doesn't look really hospitable about that. Unfortunately...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Boarnshiem is een ideale vakantiestek. Je kunt kiezen voor de camping, of logeren in de verbouwde boerderij. Ik heb enkel ervaring met bed and breakfast. De kamers zijn ruim, netjes, prima bedden, alles picco bello in orde, het ontbijt is uitstekend. Ik vind verblijven op de boerderij ideaal. De Boarnshiem ligt ook nog in een erg mooie landelijke streek, Aldeboarn als dorp is vlakbij, alsook het iets grotere en erg gezellige Akkrum, en tenslotte zit je in het midden van Friesland, waar erg veel te ontdekken valt, mooie pittoreske plaatsjes en een prachtig landelijk landschap. Ik kan een verblijf op de Boarnshiem aan iedereen, mensen met of zonder kinderen, aanbevelen; Voor fietsers is het ook een ideale verblijfstek, fietsen kun je in deze streek naar hartelust. Hier komt een mens tot rust! Dikke vette aanrader!
The Boarnshiem is an ideal vacation spot. You can choose the campsite, or stay in the converted farmhouse. I only have experience with bed and breakfast. The rooms are spacious, tidy, great beds, everything is fine, the breakfast is excellent. I think staying on the farm is ideal. The Boarnshiem is also situated in a very beautiful rural region, Aldeboarn as a village is nearby, as well as the slightly larger and very cozy Akkrum, and finally you are in the middle of Friesland, where there is a lot to discover, beautiful picturesque towns and beautiful rural landscape. I can recommend a stay on the Boarnshiem to everyone, people with or without children; For cyclists it is also an ideal place to stay, you can cycle to your heart's content in this region. Here a person comes to rest! Big fat must!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super leuke plek om te verblijven in Friesland. Leuk optrekje met een grote woonkamer, waar je gezellige avonden kunt beleven. Verder een erg leuke huisbaas, die graag meedenkt. Een echte aanrader dus!
Super nice place to stay in Friesland. Nice retreat with a large living room, where you can spend pleasant evenings. Furthermore, a very nice landlord, who likes to think along. Highly recommended!
