★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have to register at the house near the entrance. There are two fields, the back field can be reached via plank across the water. Amenities are a bit outdated. But it was the cheapest camp site on our cycling tour at 5 euro per person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed one night whilst on a cycling tour. This camp site is basic and needing some investment.
After arriving we didn't know where to report to. Eventually found the farmer who sorted us out.
The pitches are level but not at all flat for sleeping on (lots of holes in the grass).
The toilets and showers are old fashioned and were full of flies and mosquitoes because the door is left open with the lights on. We had to cycle two minutes every time to get to the toilets/showers/washing up from the second field. Would be 5 minute walk.
The farmer is friendly enough and the cost is very cheap, but I would have paid a bit more for better standards if there were another campsite nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a rather basic and quite wild stay but I enjoyed it anyway somehow. I slept quite fine and it was also very funny finding out that wild birds such as swans and ducks might have rested nearby our caravan. Of course it wasn't a luxurious stay and the place wasn't so easy to find, so if you prefer five-star experiences I wouldn't recommend it to you, but if you enjoy a little bit of country vacation it of course offers several occasions of experiencing country life (such as making cheese or riding horses).
The staff is very good, available at any time for any promblem or information, very friendly and helping with orientation (they can also speak English very well so if you're a foreigner such as me and my family communication won't affect you). The camping is near the centre of Gouda, the dutch capital of cheese, and it's easily reachable by bike, even by children. Don't worry, if you stay here you won't regret it!
