★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot for good Portugues food! Within walking distance from the city center and the Rhine river this is a must when staying in Arnhem. Spijkerkwartier is host to many great restaurants but this is my favorite!

Great food selection, there was a new menu in August where they listened to customers and added some really nice stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bomboca is not your normal cafe, it’s an institution! It’s a tiny portal to Portuguese food and drinks, a corner for those who are running away from flavorless food world out there. Bifana better than most places in Portugal? Check (subjective claim alert here). Coffee better than most places in the Netherlands? Yes (objective claim). Great people making and serving the food? Yes. Toasts that are out of this world? Hell yes! Coziest place in Arnhem? Yes. Limited seating places? Sure, sometimes (see the note below), but you can go out to the park, or walk around in beautiful hidden gardens of Spijkerkwartier for 10 minutes and come back, because quite honestly it’s well worth the wait and it’s not like you’re going to save the world or whatever in those 10 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this cafe by accident. And it turned out to be amazing! Very tasty coffee (cappuccino and galão), really pleasant and enjoyable to drink. Quiche and goat cheese tosti was delicious, the dishes were warmed up perfectly and nicely packed for a takeaway! 5+star, we will come back ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really liked this place, it looked very inviting with flower pots in front but it was busy and the space inside was pretty small so we couldn't sit inside.They had chairs outside though and we sat there. I ordered a latte machiatto and my friend a cappuccino but our drinks weren't very warm.
