E	Esther Stieltjes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We waren voor het eerst bij Fenix Food Factory en gingen langs bij Booij. Dikke tegenvaller. We vroegen om een kaasplank. We werden niet eens begroet of aangekeken. Hoppa, plank op de bar, emmer open, kwak uienchutney in het midden. Paar dikke lelijke curverbakken (in het zicht) open met voorgesneden stukjes kaas, vol met de hand er in graaien, ook op de plank en doei. Een beetje verbouwereerd gaan zitten met het gevoel een soort massaproduct te krijgen. Goed, we hadden er toch zin in, dus wij smikkelen. Toch halverwege wel benieuwd naar wat voor kaas we eigenlijk hadden gekregen. En nou komt het: we weten niet wat we jullie gegeven hebben. Het zou die kunnen zijn of misschien wel die. Dus: je weet als klant niet wat je eet, het personeel ook niet en als je het lekker vindt en je wil wat meenemen voor thuis, dan heb je pech, want geen idee. Ze zeiden: we doen gewoon wat op de plank. Ik weet wel wat van kaas: één stukje was veel te rijp, puur ammoniak in je mond. En ze hebben ook niet de moeite genomen om de kazen in juiste volgorde op de plank te presenteren (rood, wit, blauw). Geen tekst of uitleg. De andere kazen waren prima, het was niet duur, maar de bijzonder lompe presentatie maakt dat we niet meer terugkomen. We were at Fenix Food Factory for the first time and visited Booij. Big setback. We asked for a cheese board. We were not even greeted or looked at. Hoppa, shelf on the bar, bucket open, dollop of onion chutney in the middle. A couple of thick ugly curver bins (in sight) open with pre-cut pieces of cheese, grabbing them with your hand, also on the shelf and bye. Sitting down a bit bewildered with the feeling of getting some kind of mass product. Well, we were looking forward to it, so we enjoy it. Still, halfway through, curious about what kind of cheese we actually got. And now it comes: we don't know what we gave you. It could be that one or maybe that one. So: as a customer you do not know what you eat, neither do the staff and if you like it and you want to take something home, then you are out of luck, because you have no idea. They said we just do something on the shelf. I know a thing or two about cheese: one piece was way too ripe, pure ammonia in your mouth. Nor have they bothered to present the cheeses on the shelf in the correct order (red, white, blue). No text or explanation. The other cheeses were fine, it was not expensive, but the unusually ungainly presentation means that we will not return.

De Borrelbox van Booij Kaasmakers is echt aanrader: lekkere 4 verschillende kazen (kaascombinatie van geiten- en koeienmelk) geserveerd met 4 unieke biertjes van brouwerij De Blauwe IJsbeer. Beiden partijen waren nieuw voor mij maar zowel de kaas als het bier is een dikke aanrader. Levertijd netjes de volgende werkdag mits voor 16:00 uur besteld. I was looking for a good Borrelbox to order for Friday afternoon drinks at home and I found it! The Borrelbox from Booij Kaasmakers is highly recommended: tasty 4 different cheeses (cheese combination of goat and cow's milk) served with 4 unique beers from De Blauwe IJsbeer brewery. Both parties were new to me, but both the cheese and the beer are highly recommended. Delivery time neatly the next working day if ordered before 16:00.
R	Rosa van de Beek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik had 3 kazen nodig voor de kaasfondue. Geen van de kazen die ik nodig had voor de kaasfondue waren op voorraad. Ik kreeg de indruk dat ik werd afgescheept met alternatieven die niet geschikt waren voor kaasfondue ondanks dat ik had aangegeven waar ik de kazen voor nodig had. Dit bleek helaas ook het geval. Voor het geld dat je betaalt werd onvoldoende aandacht besteed en meegedacht. I needed 3 cheeses for the cheese fondue. None of the cheeses I needed for the cheese fondue were in stock. I got the impression that I was being fobbed off with alternatives that were not suitable for cheese fondue despite having indicated what I needed the cheeses for. Unfortunately this turned out to be the case. Insufficient attention was paid and thought was given to the money you pay.
