★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It could have been the best view point in the national park, but it is only possible to climb up to the first platform. You can see more or less the same from the ground level.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 'brandtoren' was used as a watching tower to spot upcoming forest fires. Build in 1949 it was used as such until approximately 1978. After a few years in decay the tower has been restored in 1992. You can climb the tower until the first platform (at your own risk). It's a nice spot to have a rest after a serious climb, either by foot or bike. The tower is located at (almost) the highest point of the 'Veluwe'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's possible to climb to the first level of the tower for a better view but the other floors are closed off. None the less, nice place to take a break and survey the plains.
