Complimenten voor de kok, ook de bediening was vriendelijk en gaf nog een tip hoe je het zuurvlees het beste kon combineren met de friet. Zeker een aanrader. Delicious meal with just the two of you. It looked cozy inside. The sauerkraut was super tasty. Compliments to the cook, the service was also friendly and gave a tip on how best to combine the sour meat with the fries. Highly recommended.

Normaliter gruw ik van saus over m'n gerecht, maar dit was super. Alleszins aan aanrader, en dan- voor de recentie doe ik het- voor de prijs van nog geen € 45,00 totaal. Daar kun je mee thuis komen?? Delicious rabbit eaten with dark red plums, hot and cold vegetables, according to the recipe of the owner / cook's grandmother, (super) and finished with a delicious Belgian beer. Normally I am horrified by sauce over my dish, but this was great. Anyway recommended, and then - for the review I do it - for the price of less than € 45.00 total. You can come home with that??
N	N Roumen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijke mosterdsoep en limburgs zoervleisj gegeten. Gezellige eigenaren, de chef nam de tijd om even met ons en de andere gasten te kletsen. Ondanks de tegenslag van het hoogwater van vorige maand, staan ze er weer met gastvrijheid en maaltijden van kwaliteit. We komen zeker terug. Chapeau. Delicious mustard soup and Limburg Zoervleisj eaten. Pleasant owners, the chef took the time to chat with us and the other guests. Despite the setback from last month's high water, they are back with quality hospitality and meals. We'll be back for sure. cheers.

Ok doe dan maar een zuurvlees met friet en een broodje brie. Ne dat kan ook niet. Het is of lunch of diner per tafel. Technisch is het niet anders mogelijk… Never experienced anything so bizarre. On an almost empty terrace 14:00 in the afternoon. Please 1 x sour meat with fries and 1 loose portion of fries. No that is not possible. Ok then have a sour meat with fries and a brie sandwich. No, that's not possible either. It's either lunch or dinner per table. Technically it is not possible otherwise…

They refuse people at 18:30... when the government offers to close at 20:00. This is very disappointing and I will for sure recommend to avoid this place if you can ! I cannot comment on the food as we were not lucky enough for being offered any dinner. Mechelen is such a nice town... it is very sad that there is not a proper restaurant there. NT
