De meelfabriek waar Brasserie Meelfabriek Zijlstroom in gevestigd is werd meer dan een eeuw geleden gebouwd aan de Leiderdorpse Zijldijk. De industriële look & feel van het pand is echter helemaal van nu. De brasserie biedt normaliter zitplaats aan zo'n 100 personen en is elke dag van de week geopend voor ontbijt, lunch en diner. Kom helemaal bij op de banken bij de open haard, neem plaats op het podium of in de lichte serre met uitzicht op de tuin met loungebanken en zitplaatsen onder parasolbomen. Iets te vieren? Huur het Tuinhuisje voor een borrel of barbecue, volg een kookworkshop in onze stoere kooklokaal of dineer in de intieme Meelzolder. Voor een groots feest huur je de hele brasserie af.

Staff were all very nice and friendly though! They also have a range of local beers in bottles which was nice too! Big plus about this place is they have a massive outdoor sitting area which is great when the suns out!!

M	Marina Gavryushkina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hey, looking for a great, cozy, and delicious restaurant at 8pm on a Saturday night and you forgot to make a reservation? Give this place a go. The menu is small because every dish is unique and prepared with care. The portions are huge- they even give a basket of fries with the entree which I barely touched even through they were really tasty because my entree was more than enough. Highly recommend the burrata appetizer (it's so refreshing and flavorful!) and the ribeye (served perfectly medium rare). The prices are very reasonable, too (18-22€ per entree) Honestly we tried to make a reservation for a Saturday night day off and called 8-10 different restaurants in the center- they were all completely booked! This was the only restaurant available, and completely worth getting out of the city center. I would even recommend going for drinks on a date night- they have a lovely fireplace and couches.
