About Brasserie Park
Naast het park De Houtkamp in Leiderdorp vind je sinds 2004 Brasserie Park. De brasserie deed vroeger dienst als boerderij en dat straalt het gebouw nog helemaal uit, mede door de authentieke luikjes, houten balken en melkbussen aan het plafond. De chef heeft zich voor de menukaart laten inspireren door de Franse, mediterraanse en aziatische keuken. Er prijkt een grote Big Green Egg in de keuken, waar het keukenteam de meest heerlijke gerechten op bereidt. Ook gezinnen met kinderen weten de brasserie de vinden, het is er altijd gezellig druk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The picture is of a sadly deceased mol. My kid took it somewhere in between trees.
We love, love, love Houtkamp! So much space to just wonder around, but also a nice playground (ideal from 4+ I'd say) and a fun kinderboerderij. And lets not forget about Heemtuin! And of course next door to Brasserie and Danice (with absolutely delicious hot coco and tosti)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seemed understaffed to have timely service on the terrace. Still friendly though. Had two burgers ordered and both were near to raw. Asked to send one to the grill a bit more and were told that it was the pinkish color due to colorants. However, the raw texture of the beef was easy to see and taste. Even after it has been cooked some more, it still was underdone. And for reference; we do love our burgers medium done.

They follow the corona rules thoroughly by for instance using big serving trays that they put next to the table so you can take the food off it yourself, instead of having a lot of close contact. This visit was in the French month and it was a warm day and therefore full. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed which made multiple orders go to the wrong table or forgotten, which got a little frustrating. The food was good though.

Nice surroundings and good to combine with a walk in the forest next to it ...Brought my friends who lives outside of Leiden many times to here and will keep bring them !
