very friendly and a nice child-friendly restaurant where you can eat delicious food for a reasonable amount. a spontaneous host and quiet music in the background it is definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted to be able to rate this place higher... First, the positive, the service by the owner is great, personal stories, lots of enthusiasm, very friendly. Inside it also looks nice and it has a very cozy atmosphere. The meat dishes were very good and also the deserts were great. Good price for a 3 course dinner
But... 50 minutes wait between starter and main course without any apologies or explanation is just to long and just 'ok' shrimp dishes result in this score.
As side comments, we had the 3-course option, which is sufficient. But if you would go for just 2 course a la carte... It would be little for the a la carte price (assuming the same portion size, please verify this on-site). We would also have liked the option for, besides the fries, some veggies or salad to share. Wouldn't mind paying extra for it, so if the owner reads this, maybe it's an idea.
Might give it a second chance based on the plusses... But there are so many proven choices that that might also not happen... To bad.
