★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alweer de 9e editie van dit must-see festival, ook dit jaar actueel, eigentijds, uitdagend en vernieuwend. Rijk qua aanbod en invalshoeken, op bijzondere (en weer andere) locaties dan bij vorige keren, bijna teveel om op één dag (goed) te bekijken. Ieder zal zijn/haar eigen voorkeuren hebben, de intrigrerende, vervreemdende, prachtige series uit en over China in de Grote Kerk waren meer dan eye-openers. En verder is het bijna overal 2020: een wereld in verwarring, want naast China zijn er de verbeeldingen van en over maatschappelijke issues uit Zuid -Afrika, Roemenië, Iran, Nederland (allicht), India en nog veel meer.Niet alleen de hoeveelheid beeldend werk, ook de thematiek en soms de heftigheid ervan laat je na een bezoek duizelen. Maar: niet te missen !

The theme of 2018, To Infinity and Beyond, is such an interesting topic which sparks discussion regarding current topics, such as the influence of technology and science on society, religion, space exploration, AI and much more! BredaPhoto also focusses on upcoming talented (student or recently graduated) photographers and giving them the opportunity to exhibit and connect with art world professionals and established photographers. Love it and highly recommend it to anyone!
