β β β β β Brewery Noordt is located in the middle of a large block of city shops. Their square sign with N logo guides you to a center concrete courtyard where they have several wood picnic tables. The long brick building has an arching roof, and large glass windows make up the front wall. Ascend a few metal stairs to the entrance and there is some additional outdoor rail seating. Inside on the left is part of the brewing area, a row of 5 stainless steel fermenters, including a couple tall ones. In the center of the room are several communal high top tables, and ahead is their white tile bar. The walkup bar is for ordering drinks, and all their beers are listed on chalkboards panels on the wall above a long set of 20 white tap handles. They typically have 18 house beers on tap which is very impressive. Most are medium-bodied and very well made. A few, like their Tripel are stronger (7.5% abv). My favorites were their 7 Hops Double Pale Ale (7%) and the Pomelo Grapefruit IPA (6%). The beer is served in 25cl pours, and they also have one prepared sampler flight of three smaller beers. To the right of the tasting room is a small bottle shop for the brewery, which has shelves of their beer, and you can create your own six-packs. The tasting room has a concrete floor, and the walls and arcing ceiling are plywood. The two-story space is open to the roof in the tasting area. Above the bar are offices, and over the bottle shop is a storage area for bags of grain. The midsize stainless steel brewing vessels are located in the center large room behind the bar, and can be seen through glass windowed doors. Further back are more fermenters, bright tanks and equipment. It is a decent sized operation. The brewery tasting room has fairly limited hours, and they are not open late. But then, their location is a bit off the beaten path, a short walk from the nearest tram station. They do not have a kitchen, but the bar sells a few charcuterie snacks, and there are several places to eat nearby. The staff is proud of their brewery, proficient and prompt, but with a rather formal demeanor. I wished they served sampler flights so the a greater variety could be tried. There is no background music, and the place has a very tidy and spartan ambience. Not the best atmosphere, but the good variety of beers makes a trip to visit worth it.

β β β β β A nice blend of traditional Dutch and Belgian style craft beers and US style ales (session, pale, double pale ale and double IPA).
Drink inside with a view of the brewery and all the equipemtb or enjoy the outside seating area on a sunny day. Buy their beers from their little shop and take them home.

β β β β β Great local craft beers. They brew different styles of beers, and often have at least 12 kinds of beer on tap. Blond, pale, IPA, double, triple, weizen are just some of the style served. Food choice is limited.
The brewery is hidden from the street view, so you really have to look for the house number. Especially with good weather it's great to sit outside, plenty of tables.
The staff isn't the most inviting. The guy behind the tap often has a cranky look on his face, which is a turn off to visit the place more often. Hence 4-stars, otherwise it'd be 5.

β β β β β Unwelcoming and unprofessional staff.
I booked a tour online (which was confirmed) to visit the brewery. When I arrived (having walked for 30') they simply told me it was not possible because I was the only person and that I should come another time. Did not feel welcome at all.

β β β β β Great beer and a cozy location, but the staff is cold and cranky, which makes you not feel very welcome. The food, though limited, is delicious. Great on a summer day with friends!

β β β β β It was small but cozy. I like the fact that we could order small glasses with different taste together.
