This morning croissant and pain au chocolat were partially raw inside and not properly proved !!!

I couldnโ€™t hear the brunette through her face mask. It was unclear weather she understood me in Dutch so I switched to English halfway. I asked her for jam to go with scones but she looked really annoyed and said she couldnโ€™t give a jar. Iโ€™ll go somewhere else next time. Also there croissants are really doughie in the centre.

Supposedly the best in Amsterdam, however this is the third time Iโ€™ve been sold burnt croissants. I couldnโ€™t believe it the first two times but I do now. In France a bakery like this would be shut down in a week. Donโ€™t believe the (overpriced) hype and go to Fort Negen.

We came here after having their baguette during a dinner at Rijsel, the baguette is the best in town, although slightly over cooked. The croissant, pain au chocolat, and tarte au citron were all very disappointing, overcooked, dense and chewy. Save on the electric bill and take them out of the oven quicker ?

Very charming authentic French bakery and patisserie on the main shopping street. The Tarte Tatin with Creme Fraรฎche is just sensational and brings you right back to the French countryside. A great place to chill over good coffee or tea with a French touch

Fine retro French bakery shop which, according to an article in the window sill, has the best croissants in Amsterdam. Friendly staff, good coffee and indeed, the croissants are excellent.
