★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I couldn’t hear the brunette through her face mask. It was unclear weather she understood me in Dutch so I switched to English halfway. I asked her for jam to go with scones but she looked really annoyed and said she couldn’t give a jar. I’ll go somewhere else next time. Also there croissants are really doughie in the centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Supposedly the best in Amsterdam, however this is the third time I’ve been sold burnt croissants. I couldn’t believe it the first two times but I do now. In France a bakery like this would be shut down in a week. Don’t believe the (overpriced) hype and go to Fort Negen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here after having their baguette during a dinner at Rijsel, the baguette is the best in town, although slightly over cooked. The croissant, pain au chocolat, and tarte au citron were all very disappointing, overcooked, dense and chewy. Save on the electric bill and take them out of the oven quicker ?
