D	Dominik B. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf dem Strand in direkter Nähe zum Park sind im Sommer Hunde verboten. Dies ist auch für jeden auf einem großen Schild ersichtlich. Leider hält sich niemand daran und wir haben schon mehrere Tage einen Herren gesehen der sogar seinen Pitbull ohne Leine und Maulkorb am Strand laufen lässt. Das schmälert natürlich den Familien Spaß mit Kleinkindern am Strand. Weiterhin gibt es Hinterlassenschaften der Hunde, welche die Besitzer liegen lassen. Schade. Dogs are not allowed on the beach in the immediate vicinity of the park in summer. This can also be seen by everyone on a large sign. Unfortunately no one sticks to it and we have already seen a gentleman for several days who even lets his pit bull run on the beach without a leash or muzzle. This of course reduces the family fun with small children on the beach. There are also legacies left by the dogs, which the owners leave behind. Too bad.
K	Katja Wessel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Park ist sauber und sehr gepflegt. Allerdings ist hier selbst zur Hochsaison nicht viel los, es scheint als würden einige fest hier wohnen. Die Rezeption ist nur spärlich besetzt, das Restaurant geschlossen. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, dazu kann ich nichts sagen. Der Ort an sich ist klein und überschaubar, aber ein Supermarkt, eine Frituur und ein kleiner Strandabschnitt des Grevelinger Meers sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Meer lässt zu wünschen übrig, es ist halt ein Binnenmeer. Also viele Quallen, Krebse und Brackwasser, zum surfen und Kiten aber optimal. The park is clean and very well maintained. However, there is not much going on here even in high season, it seems that some of them live here permanently. The reception is sparsely staffed, the restaurant is closed. We didn't use the pool, I can't comment on that. The place itself is small and manageable, but a supermarket, a frituur and a small stretch of beach on the Grevelinger Meer are within walking distance. The sea leaves a lot to be desired, it's just an inland sea. So a lot of jellyfish, crabs and brackish water, but ideal for surfing and kiting.

Natürlich ist keiner dafür zuständig und nichts wird gemacht. Zu dem Haus will ich garnichts sagen, einfach nur ekelhaft. Dilapidated house, Romanian guest workers throughout the area who party all night and take no account of others. Of course, nobody is responsible for it and nothing is done. I don't want to say anything about the house, just disgusting.
D	Dirk Berndt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ruhiger und gepflegter Park, der direkt am Grevelinger Meer und nur wenige Kilometer von der Nordsee entfernt liegt. Der Park liegt in Herkingen und hat einen kleinen Supermarkt, "Frittenbude", Pizzaria und eine Bäckerei. Der Hafen ist sehr schön und auch dort gibt es ein Restaurant wo man entspannt auf das Grevelinger Meer gucken kann. Für Windsurfer ein kleiner Hotspot aber trotzdem immer noch überschaubar. Von Herkingen aus kann man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto die schönsten Strände für Hund und Mensch erreichen. Direkt am Park gibt es schöne Spazierwege am Deich entlang aber auch für Radfahrer ideal, weil es da ein super ausgebautes Netz an Fahrradwegen gibt. Quiet and well-kept park, which is located directly on the Grevelinger Meer and only a few kilometers from the North Sea. The park is located in Herkingen and has a small supermarket, "Frittenbude", pizzaria and a bakery. The harbor is very beautiful and there is also a restaurant there where you can relax and watch the Grevelinger Sea. A small hotspot for windsurfers but still manageable. The most beautiful beaches for dogs and people can be reached from Herkingen in a few minutes by car. Directly at the park there are beautiful walks along the dike, but also ideal for cyclists because there is a super-developed network of bike paths.
