★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vanaf het hoge duin bij het dorp West Terschelling heb je een magnifiek uitzicht rondom. Op dit duin liggen grotere en kleinere bunkers uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Samen vormden die destijds een uitgebreid verdedigingnetwerk als onderdeel van de Atlantik Wall voor de Duitsers.
From the high dune near the village of West Terschelling you have a magnificent view all around. Larger and smaller bunkers from the Second World War are located on this dune. Together they formed an extensive defense network as part of the Atlantik Wall for the Germans.
