★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was on my bike waiting for my friend who had her bike locked near the canal. While I was looking into the distance for my friend minding my own business suddenly one of the guests walked upon me very closely me saying that I should not look his way. Me not fully realizing what was happening I asked the staff if they did know this guy? The staff did not take any action while seeing it all happen. I think this is a very bad way of keeping the surroundings of your business safe. And if you know that your guests had been drinking too much (because I believe that was the case here) - you shouldn't serve them. And if you see that something is escalating - don't stand there doing nothing.
Shady place anyway - if you look for a nice bar go to Prael instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ first of all i totaly disagree with some of the Bad Reveiws about this place,ive been going in there for the past couple of years,got to know the Manager and Bar staff good friends of mine,its a lovely gaff,and the locals make ya wellcome,my advice to anyone who wants a beer and a chat about Ajax,get in the Backstake cafe
