★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a awesome day of hiking through Amsterdam we had to catch the train back home. When my eye fell on this tiny awesome brown cafe. Attracted by the looks of it from the outside we went in. Had a nice waitress who served us some nice wine and beer. The owner looked young bit enthusiastic. Though we sat with our backs to the window. I am sure if we had positioned ourselves looking to the outside passersby would have been a cool thing. Not too expensive either. And that for a cafe in the busy center. Recommend this cafe by 9/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent little bar! Lovely attentive staff and cheap for Amsterdam prices with Heineken at 4.50 euros a pint. Complimentary Bombay Mix per table, good music and cosy comfortable atmosphere!
Highly recommended unless you have a fear of crazy narrow steps to the toilets.

If you need to go to the toilet, you'd better get your climbing gear out, very steep stairs. A mountain goat would be struggling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to give this bar no stars, but since that is not possible I will give it a 1. My family and I were treated HORRIBLY and it was not the first time. Went there a couple of times just to give it another try from the previous experience because I wanted to try again. BIG MISTAKE!
Firstly the waiters were extremely rude and were trying to rush everyone in my family out taking everything we had on our table, without giving an explanation. Secondly, we have spent a significant amount of money and it was not the case that we sat down for seven hours and no one even came to apologize or explain why we were just being evicted
Thirdly, there were about three other bad reviews that were posted by my family to let others (and the owners) about our VERY BAD experience and these were deleted. Thank you again for such a disgusting experience.
I've been living here for years but I will never recommend this place to anyone ever again! DISAPPOINTING...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After spending hundreds of euros in that bar they just took all of our drinks and removed them. Instead of communicating with us they just treated us in a way you do not expect to be treated. Really dissapointing as it seemed really nice in the beginning!
