★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we were in Hattem, we dropped by Cafe Restaurant Banka. A nice and relax place in the centre of Hattem. We enjoyed coffee and pastry. It's also a good place to have lunch and dinner. Service is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at Banka. We had to wait 2 hours for our main course and even then is was served in stages. There were several things wrong with the dishes such as cold potatoes, overcooked meat and the dishes not matching what was stated in the menu. The biggest problem was the fettuccine which contained bacon whilst that was not mentioned on the menu. When asked about it the server claimed that the pecorino named in the menu meant pickeled pork. When we indicated we were unhappy with the service and that 8 out of the 11 people at our table had not enjoyed their meal only slight apologies and excuses were offered. They said it was the first night of the new menu whilst we had seen the same menu when booking the restaurant weeks in advance. All in all a bad dining experience and would in no way recommend Banka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located a the central square of Hattem (a lovely town to walk around in). Fast service. Good food. The 3-course menu was quite good value for money, which large portions. I had the mozzarella salad (which was a bit heavy on the mozzarella), the sate and the creme brulee. All of it was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicely prepared food, very friendly and instant service, located in the center of a small town, next to a parking garage which provides 2 hours free parking. It is only 10 minutes drive from the dinoland, a nice treat for the family after a day out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited here a few years ago for a very delicious latte macchiato! The seating area is very cool and the town of Hattem is absolutely stunning! We cycled here and it was the perfect coffee spot! 10/10!
