★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars for having a cat, the food was great! We tried the Turkish bread which was unbelievable. The veggie tempura was alright, the ribs, peaking duck and veggie green curry. Prices were average, servers were really nice. The decore was cozy. I like this place alot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven’t tried any food but the drinks and service was great. As soon as we sat down outside the server came and handed us menus. Right on a canal and a corner street so great for people watching/just watching the boats go by. Once again, can’t comment on the food but the service was excellent and it’s good for a drink by the canal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most important: there's a cat named Jean Pierre and he was the best surprise on the rainy afternoon I stumbled into this place.
The staff was all smiles and high energy. Very cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and candles.
Nachos aren't American style (if that's what you were seeking like us) but were delicious and perfect with beer. Cheese sticks taste just like macaroni and cheese in a stick form.
Great place to sit with a friend and seemed very popular with locals and tourists alike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was shocked to see all the good reviews that have been left here by others. Maybe this is because they are older reviews. The service was slow, uncontrolled and unprofessional on all levels. The atmosphere was vintage as in dirty and not looked after. Now as for what I mean by the service being slow and uncontrolled is that, the only seemingly only 2 people working there were constantly chatting together and at some point during my time there they just left together, that's when I wanted to go to the bar and pay for my drinks. What happened when they got back to the bar giggling together was in my opinion completely unprofessional; 4 boys walked into the bar their ages looking like 16-20 year olds, they cut in front of me and started ordering their drinks which I found quite rude already but the worst part of all is that none of these pretty young looking guys were checked for ID. I don't recommend this dirty and unprofessional place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazingly friendly service and overall ambiance of the restaurant. The music is not too loud so its perfect for a date with someone you want to talk to. Very affordable for what you are getting. One of the best coffees i had in amsterdam. The food was delicious and the portions were big.
The kramer burger and the salmon sandwich are both seasoned perfectly and you could tell the meat and bacon are of good quality.
Definitely recommend you stop here if you are wondering the city and feel hungry or just want to stop for a cup of tea/beer.
Also the cat here is adorable.
