★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A down-to-earth, friendly place. The ambience is neighbourhood pub more than glamour.
Very arrentive staff, ensuring all guests are seen to expediently. Staff is also friendly and apparently the main reason for returning patrons, and no wonder, not many places provides as friendly and quick service.
Strength is beer, but the Gin & Tonics are also good.
Music mostly old ESC/pop hits (good, in my opinion), takes requests!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice and authentic place to drink a beer in The Hague. Very nice staff, prices are fair and the music is catchy. Feeling back to the 80s! Recommended!! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I moved to the Netherlands 2 years ago. This was the first time a waitress yelled at me. She misheard my order of 1 gin tonic twice and then charged me 14 euro for 1 gin tonic served with 1 slice of lemon in a Heineken beer glass. When I complained, she screamed at me and threw 15 eur cash at me. So, dear angry waitress, thank you for the free drink and 1 eur tip for enduring your meltdown. For future reference, treat your customers nicely, otherwise you are just destroying the bar's nice vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was very rudely turned away by the bouncer for no apparent reason. The club wasn't full, my friends and I were not intoxicated and presented our ID's and were polite to the bouncer. When asking for his reason why we weren't allowed into the club was in his words "You don't look good" not a very nice thing to hear when you are just trying to have a nice time out with your friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice bartenders, nice crowd, good beer for reasonable price..just please get rid of the toxic bouncer. We visited tonight (26/2/22) and were met with unreasonable and unprovoked hostility from the doorman. It made the whole experience really sour. I don’t think any of us will come again, but please make your place more welcoming for others, it’d really be a lovely place otherwise.
