β β β β β Went with high expectations - excited to find Peruvian food in the Hague. Nice ambiance, friendly waiting service and great cocktails. However, my meals had elements (written on menu) missing in them that I had to ask for. I'm disappointed that the restaurant thought the customer just wouldn't notice.

β β β β β I ate at this restaurant recently after having tried their food box during the COVID lockdown (which was really tasty and great value for money!). The ambiance in the restaurant was very loud but once again the food, especially the starters were very tasty. Big portions on the mains.

β β β β β Amazing place along the docks in Den Haag. Great location to have a Peruvian restaurant (or any restaurant). I was missing some Peruvian food and heard some good reviews about this place --not disappointed. The decoration of the restaurant is very unique, with Peruvian motives, but with modern touches surrounded with Latin music on the background. The service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered a Marajada (passievrucht non-alcoholic drink), the Pan de Temporada (brood met Andesboter), the Ceviche Carretillero, Pulpo a la brasa (Gegrilde octopus) and Lomo Nikkei (Ossenhaas). I really enjoyed the food presentation, the taste and freshness of the food! If you are around Den Haag and fancy some Peruvian food, or just try something different, this is your place. BONUS: pet friendly!

β β β β β Each dish is an adventure, with sudden unexpected flavors that were meant to be together but we never knew.
I recommend the 3 or 4 tasting menu, as you can freely choose from the menu, so you pretty much get the dessert "for free" as compared to ordering individual dish.
Service is great. Don't go in a hurry, as the food takes its time, but it is worth it. You can enjoy the view and the company while you wait, and drink as many pisco sour as you can, they are delicious

β β β β β The food, Service and the Ambiance was really good at this Peruvian restaurant.
I wanted to try something different and I am so happy I did.
We have enjoyed eating our food while Latin music was playing in the background.
Our waitress Brian was so attentive. I loved that about him.
The only thing I did not like, was the pop corn seeds in the dishes. I did not understand the concept of that, however it is possible to ask them to serve your cuisine without the pop corn seeds.
I will be back Callao. Xx

β β β β β Amazing place for Ceviches, period. You can not expect better Ceviches than this place in the Randstad region. The cuisine is Peruvian with ecstatic flavors and very refreshing. The dish portions are good and filling, rightly priced. Main course is equally good and full of flavors. This is star place for Peruvian food. We ate all three Ceviches, razor clams, oysters and with main course and desserts.

β β β β β Excellent service, cozy environment, and amazing take on Peruvian cuisine. Dishes like causa and ceviche are given a Nouvelle cuisine twist. There are also dishes like roasted chicken, that in theory sounds simple, but Callao just gets it right.

β β β β β The star Iβm giving is just for the pisco sour.
The staff 4/10
The food 3/10
The location and view 10/10
We went there for dinner at 18:30 it was full and there were only 2 waiters for the right side of the terrace and they were in a rush all the time, even when we were ordering, they keep looking to other tables because they were very busy. We felt they gave more importance to the big tables.
We ordered ceviche and as far as Iβm from PerΓΊ I know how a good ceviche tastes, but the fish had a strange tasteβ¦ maybe it was frozen fish.
The octopus was ok but nothing special.
The worst dish so far was the βtraditionalβ Lomo saltadoβ¦ one more time it was COLD. The rice portion was raw..
The beef was burnt βcheck the photosβ it was full of dried fries but no problem because you can dip them in the full liter of soy sauce in the bottom of the plate. To finish: since when the traditional lomo saltado has BANANAS??
Our expectations for this restaurant were high because we checked many reviews and most of them are positive.
For me as Peruvian I think only foreigners that havenβt tried the amazing Peruvian kitchen would say that the food in this restaurant is good.
We were disappointed. A very bad first and probably last experience in Callao.
