★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camelot or scamelot ? Rented a room from them, after few days they informed us that heating and hot water will be available only 4 hours / day. This just on the beginning of the winter. Now they don't refund my deposit , although I have left the room 9 weeks ago. Avoid it at all cost !!!!!

Terrible organization. Have never experienced such an unbelievably bad service. Constantly extra money for “service costs” (No one knows for which “service”) will be charged, such as 200 € for a user manual for the microwave and an e-mail address, where you will not even get an answer. Furthermore, the deposit is not repaid and the staff on the phone make false promises and can not help you at all. Seems like the Camelot people are more busy with writing own positive fake reviews for themselves..
Instead of a 20m2 appartment ( information from their Website, you first need to sign the contract, then you’re allowed to see the place) i got a 16m2 Container for 650€ every month..
If you plan to live in a clean and comfortable place with good service and no financial stress and issues, DON’T SIGN A CAMELOT CONTRACT !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful awful service. Unfortunately I had to deal with them and contacting the right person is a nightmare. Previously tried to contact Aileen from Bewonerszaken to no avail. Called several times and was told to leave a message or that I will receive a call back even though she is able to pick up the phone. Always had another staff member relay a message when she was available which is absolutely ridiculous. Pick up the phone and do your job to the client instead of avoiding responsibility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ READ UP ON THIS COMPANY BEFORE YOU GO INTO BUSINESS WITH THEM - Worst experience ever - it takes months for them to reply on emails, they try to steal money from you with insanely high service costs and then become very intimidating with letters and debt collectors.
I am still fighting to get my money back over a case in 2017, it's now 2020.
Same goes for when there are issues in the building or room, don't expect them to be fixed quickly.
There have been many legal cases against them. I would advice you to steer clear from Camelot.

They really made a huge improvement in the way the respond and interact with the inhabitants of their properties: Very on top of things, friendly responses and really doing their best to make your stay in their properties as pleasant as reasonable possible. Good job Camelot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After four months of search in Ams for a student studio, these people asked me to send my documents for a studio in Amsterdam. The ad said the place has 2-4 available studios so I sent all the documents fast. I called them to check my documents faster because I have to be registered at Municipality and I’m currently out of contract. They said it takes up to 2weeks to check the documents. After 8 days they called me and canceled my application saying there’s no place available until 3rd of Nov. After two hours of trying to call these agency to see what happened. Response was just “sorry, you didn’t pick up the phone”!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously unless your are completely desperate, avoid this company like its corona! They did not arrive to do the final inspection, did not answer the phone, and now they have done one without me being there they are claiming things were broken (the oven even though I have a video, it worked fine 450euro. Also mold on the wall coming from the bathroom they are charging 400 to paint ). Seriously avoid, I am taking legal action as what they are doing is fraudulent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT RENTING A STUDIO HERE, PLEASE DON'T, YOU'LL REGRET IT.
The ventilation in the whole building and in the studios is extremely bad, it literally feels like a sauna and there's never enough fresh air. If you're one of the lucky ones who live in one of the upper floors, facing the south side, you also have those noise cancelling panels behind the windows that don't allow air to come through: welcome to hell, it's basically impossible to breathe. They let you live in miserable conditions, it's really inhumane and unacceptable. Plus, the ventilation in my kitchen has been broken since 2 months and I'm still waiting for them to fix it. I told them I struggle to breath and my health is deteriorating because of it. I'm literally suffocating. They couldn't care less about the health of their tenants. They are extremely slow in dealing with problems; the concierge is basically non-existant; the building is also quite dirty; the furniture is old and trashy.
I honestly don't know how they are allowed by the legal system to behave in this horrible way. They'll be hearing from my lawyer.
