Great camping for young kids. Friendly staff, great facilities. A bit expensive.

Short story : Best camping experience ever! (Definitly the underground house with home theather and the aslope house with sauna!) Would recommend! Long story (reason I loved it) : I had hired the little looking "Lord of the Rings looking shed" as a suprise vacation for my girlfriend. It looked like some sort of little hobbit garage on a tiny mountain, very cute. We arrived around noon, GPS almost ruined it because we drove right by the little shed as we entered the camping, she notice the shed but did not realise anything yet. Went inside the camping information point, very sweet lady from the camping explained everything, gave some folders and gave me the key to our underground fortress in disguise. Drove towards the little shed and as we were getting closer the face of my girlfriend started to go from happy to extremely confused and worried. When we arrived she did not say a word, I almost exploded of laughter but kept myself calm and said with the chillest voice.. Well.. It looked a little bigger on the pictures.. No wonder it was so cheap..... Girlfriends face now extremely worried. But once we entered our hobbit home and she seen the little stairs going downstairs, there was only happiness. What a rollercoaster of emotions that must have been hahahah. I had seen it on the pictures but even I was still very amazed by everything. Amazing place, with nice kozi fireplace, very nice open kitchen, 2 bedrooms, lovely home theater with a cute love couch and heart pillows (protip: ducktape a garbage bag over the first window if the sun bothers you). When you open the doors in the back, you have a little stairs to a backyard, which is very nice to relax in the sun. We also enjoyed some very nice nature walks in the area, very beautiful, seen some deers a fox and lots of wild cows. There is also a zoo pretty close by, was fun, but not that super great. Shops are on a 5/10 minute drive, also nice restaurants in the area, everybody is very friendly, felt like I've known everybody for years there. If I go back I would go and rent the other "weird" spot, with a house that is 90 degree turned and contains a sauna!

Good camping. Lot's of children though so if you're fixing to relax you should probably go to a different place.

Wonderful campground that is very well organized. Their rentals are nice, especially the house that looks like Bilbo Baggins's. The food trucks are great, with the Veldkeuken as a true gem: lovely and tasty!

A true gem of a campground. It's cozy, it's great for kids as well as adults. The staff is friendly, there's a great atmosphere and the surroundings are beautiful.

A uniquely beautiful and professionally run camping. Plenty of room, clean facilities, close to lots of hiking and biking trails. Great place for families with kids (while also not bothering those without kids).

A treasure of a campground. Ideal for kids, great for parents. Only the showers were cumbersome, as they had these 5 min max running times. With 2 kids and an adult, finishing up showering in 5 minutes is next to impossible. As a result we spent a few times waiting out the 5 minute penalty in goose bumps.
