Een aanrader, we komen zeker nog eens weer en vertellen het door. Very hospitable. Very neat and spacious campsite, all the trimmings. Neat and clean sanitary facilities. Highly recommended, we will definitely come again and tell you about it.
B	Bas Verbree on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omdat Houffalize vanwege de corona geen doorgang kon hebben, als alternatief uitgekomen op camping de Somerweij. En dat was zeker geen teleurstelling. We kwamen om een weekend mtb te rijden en ondanks een gebrek aan heuvels zeer leuke technische routes kunnen fietsen, tot de benen verzuurd waren. Ook voor met de wegfiets is de omgeving een aanrader! Op de camping zelf hadden wij gekozen voor het mini huisje en twee kampeer plaatsen. Het huisje met apparte keuken was briljant, mooi schoon en een uitgebreide keuken. Ook het sanitair op de camping was tot in de puntjes verzorgd! Wij hebben met de vriendengroep een top weekend gehad. Lekker fietsen, bbqen, kampvuurtje en een stiekem biertje, wat wil een mens nog meer? Bedankt ook voor de hulp met het verkennen van de omgeving! Because Houffalize could not have access due to the corona, as an alternative ended up at camping de Somerweij. And that was certainly not a disappointment. We came to ride mtb for a weekend and despite a lack of hills could cycle very nice technical routes, until the legs were sour. The area is also recommended for road bikes! On the campsite itself, we had opted for the mini house and two camping places. The cottage with separate kitchen was brilliant, beautifully clean and an extensive kitchen. The sanitary facilities on the campsite were also taken care of down to the last detail! We had a great weekend with the group of friends. Nice cycling, BBQ, campfire and a secret beer, what more could a person want? Thanks also for the help with exploring the area!

A	A.J. Veldman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een prachtig mooie camping en dat 5 jaar geleden opgebouwd. Afgelopen zomer er een paar weken gestaan en genoten. Wandelen en fietsen (mountainbiken of gewoon) om de hoek. Vooral de mountainbike routes in grote aantal aanwezig. Lekker rustig gelegen en toch 4 kilometer van Someren voor de boodschappen. Een aanrader. What a wonderfully beautiful campsite and that was built 5 years ago. Last summer stood there for a few weeks and enjoyed it. Walking and cycling (mountain biking or just) around the corner. Especially the mountain bike trails are present in large number. Nice and quiet location and yet 4 kilometers from Someren for shopping. Recommended.
F	Frank Verburg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aardige camping. Plaatsen niet zo groot als in sommige reviews wordt beweerd. Wij hebben op het tentenveld gestaan. Daar sta je ruim. Aan de zijkant van de camping blijft de paardepoep liggen. Dit ruik je nogal. Sanitair mooi en schoon. Vriendelijke eigenaresse. Ligt in een mooie omgeving. Niet helemaal ons ding, maar dat is voor ieder verschillend. Nice campsite. Places not as big as some reviews claim. We have been on the tent field. There you are spacious. Horse droppings remain on the side of the campsite. You can smell this quite a bit. Sanitary nice and clean. Friendly owner. Located in a beautiful area. Not quite our thing, but that's different for everyone.

T	Tebbe Eerkes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een gezellige vrij nieuwe camping opgezet door een jong stel met 20 plaatsen die eind augustus allen bezet waren. Geen slecht teken. Het sanitair is goed hoewel de douche wel wat heftiger mag. De omgeving nodigt uit voor mooie fietstochten. Helaas enkel wifi in een soort van huiskamer. Verder alles prima verzorgd. A pleasant fairly new campsite set up by a young couple with 20 pitches, all of which were occupied at the end of August. Not a bad sign. The sanitary facilities are good although the shower could be a bit more intense. The area invites for beautiful cycling trips. Unfortunately only wifi in a kind of living room. Everything else well taken care of.

Kitchen with all the basic facilities allowed us to cook a great feast! I would certainly come back on my next bike trip.
