Not a nice campsite. No morning rest, because they work there. Washing dishes right next to the chemical toilet. Not nice...

Nice quiet farm campsite within cycling distance of nice villages. Friendly owners. And beautiful flower bulbs! Will come back here again for sure.

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren, net sanitair gebouw met toiletten en douches. Goed vertoeven hier. Wonderfully quiet farm campsite in the middle of the pleasant Texel within cycling distance of den Burgh. Very friendly owners, just sanitary building with toilets and showers. Stay well here.
E	Erik C.S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Günstig, aber nicht sehr schön. Es gibt zwei Camping-Wiesen mit Hecken und ein paar Stellplätze direkt vor einer großen Lagerhalle. Die zuletzt genannten Stellplätze haben keinen Windschutz und man blickt auf ein Rübenfeld. Dieser Blick ist nicht besonders schön und man würde nie darauf kommen, auf Texel oder überhaupt einer Insel zu sein. Die Sänitaranlagen sind zwar nicht sehr schmutzig, aber auch wirklich nicht sauber genug - vorallem nicht für die aktuellen Verhältnisse mit dem Corona-Virus. Der Geruch auf den Toiletten erinnerte manchmal an ein Raubtierhaus im Zoo. Nicht empfehlenswert! Inexpensive, but not very nice. There are two camping meadows with hedges and a few parking spaces in front of a large warehouse. The last-mentioned pitches have no wind protection and you can see a beet field. This view is not particularly beautiful and you would never think of being on Texel or an island at all. The sanitary facilities are not very dirty, but they are really not clean enough - especially not for the current conditions with the Corona virus. The smell on the toilets sometimes reminded me of a predator house in the zoo. Not recommended!
H	Hans van den Bergh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijke rustige en centraal gelegen camping. Zeer gastvrij en goed onderhouden. Als je van rust en eenvoud houdt dan voel je je hier gauw thuis. Prima sanitair, parkeerplaatsen, stroomvoorziening en watertappunten. Als je rust zoekt en even bij wilt tanken, is camping De Waal op Texel dé ideale locatie!! Lovely quiet and centrally located campsite. Very welcoming and well maintained. If you like peace and simplicity, you will soon feel at home here. Excellent sanitary facilities, parking spaces, power supply and water taps. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to refuel, camping De Waal on Texel is the ideal location!!
